Le centre privé de langues LSI adapte ses formations aux besoins et à l'emploi du temps de chacun, proposant des classes de niveaux ciblés et organisant régulièrement des préparations aux examens de français : TEF (Académique, Naturalisation, Immigration Canada) et DELF (A1-B2)). Implantée dans de nouveaux locaux depuis avril 2015, l'école flambant neuve dispose de 5 grandes salles de classe lumineuses, d'une salle multimedia de 15 ordinateurs et d'un grand espace détente avec cuisine équipée à disposition.
The aim of the courses preparing for the DUEF (degree in French language) is not only to master the French language of everyday life but also to reach the level of French required to undertake studies in a French university. The pedagogy of the summer course (in July) encourages learners to improve fluency in speaking and writing. The small groups allow everyone to be active and to make progress. Teaching materials deal with current topics of society, civilization and culture. Conferences complete this program.
The IEFE is a DELF & DALF examination centre.
It welcomes a broad spectrum of students all looking to learn or hone their knowledge of French language and culture in a university environment. The educational activities are organised on the basis of authentic documents and methods as well as practical scenarios through outings. Civilisational modules round off the training (news, fashion, cinema, theatre, renewable energy).

Registration in the semester-based classes gives students the benefits of the Nantes Université student card: countless student associations, a choice of 51 sports, university library, resource centre, for individual learning or to practice another language, tutorials and so on. From level B2, an extensive choice of workshops is included in the course programme: theatre, poetry and song, art, cinema, Francophone literature, image analysis, etc.
A Master's degree in French as a Second Language is offered by the Letters and Language Faculty at Nantes Université.
