There are a few conditions that need to be verified before applying.
- The centre must provide evidence of its legal status and abide by all existing legislation with regards to its status.
- The centre must be able to prove that it has been providing training in French as a foreign language for at least three consecutive years.
- If the centre operates all year round, it must deliver at least 2,400 hours of French as a foreign language teaching per year and employ full-time teaching staff on permanent contracts.
- If the centre only operates for part of the year, it must deliver at least 1,200 hours of French as a foreign language teaching per year, spread over at least four months, with at least 300 hours of teaching per month. It must employ at least one full-time or part-time teacher on a permanent contract.
The centre in question must provide all appropriate official documentation to prove that they meet the four criteria listed above.
